Olaniyi Mathew Olayiwola is a Professor of Statistics in the Department of Statistics, College of Physical Sciences, Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria. He holds various degrees and has extensive research experience, including Ph.D (Statistics), M.Sc (Statistics), M.Sc (Biostatistics), B.Sc (Statistics), and PGD (Education). He has supervised over 20 M.Sc students and 3 Ph.D students. He served as the Head of the Department of Statistics from 2019-2023. Olayiwola is a hardworking, meticulous, and committed individual who has attended numerous conferences and workshops. He was a statistics lecturer at the school of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science, University of Kent, Canterbury, England, United Kingdom during his sabbatical leave (2023 -2024) He is a member of various professional bodies, including the Royal Statistical Society (UK), International Association of Survey Statisticians, and Chartered Institute of Statisticians of Nigeria. He received the 2020 Mardia award for his Covid-19 response in Nigeria. His current research is on development of a centralized machine learning dashboard for detecting, monitoring, predicting, and managing diabetes complications
